Sydney – 3 Gorges
98km - 1,724m / 60mi - 5656ft - Weekend Rides - Saturday
3 Gorges – Showcases some of Sydney’s best climbs none of which are too steep. Beautiful descents and waterways with a short ferry ride at Berowra which makes for a good refuelling point before the third and last climb. Because they are gorges you can get a variety of weather patterns which caters for the photography enthusiast! Many sträva segments throughout if you feel the urge to flex and show your mates who is the boss! A good hard ride with rolling terrain between gorges and beautiful too.
We have a range of other rides to take in the Harbour and surrounds in Sydney :-

Alanna – SydneyAlways up for an adventure Alanna enjoys a range of cycling, from seven day tours to morning commutes she's always out on the bike. This year she competed in Amy’s Gran Fondo on the Great Ocean Road but missed out on UCI qualifications by just 4 minutes! However she did win the Tour of New Zealand in April and even came “second” in the men's individuals. Aside from these impressive races she describes herself as a weekend warrior and weekday hubbard! Loves going fast, slow, up hill, down hill, whatever! so long as her wheels remain on the ground. Alanna takes cycling to a whole new level when she throws in a cheeky ride on her penny farthing bike - Grasshopper, her pride and joy!

A big focus recently has been the Ride To Conquer Cancer as well as multi-day events different charities. He also did the 110km Blayney to Bathurst sportif event earlier this year. He's done some big solo rides from 150-200+km exploring all the climbs in the Royal National Park, south of Sydney. He loves that cycling is a great way to see the city and surrounds that you live in but often fly by in a blur. Outside of cycling he loves good food and is a big supporter of the arts. He's on the board of Sculpture by the Sea, one of the world’s largest free to the public outdoor sculpture events.

He is always on the lookout for scenic routes around Sydney and loves to meet people from all around the world to share cycling and life experiences. He enjoys the social setting around cycling and you will often find him talking to random riders in the road trying to get them into group riding.
