Bob – DallasBob started riding in 2000 on a dare to ride an MS150 ride from Houston to Austin. First thing was to buy a bike. Since then he has ridden over 50,000 miles in Texas and Colorado and is somewhat addicted to the bicycle. He participates regularly in charity rides. Bob started racing a little last year and finished 2nd in his age group in the Texas State Road Championships. Bob is also an instructor (LCI 2135) and regularly teaches kids and adults who have never ridden before. He loves to ride and share that with the folks he rides with. He rides several times a week in the Dallas/Fort Worth area solo, as part of a group and as a ride leader. He has developed numerous routes that are safe and interesting, both urban and rural. One of the advantages of this area is that it is fairly easy to get out into the rural areas with limited traffic and good scenery.
